FAQs

Can I see/touch the fabrics before I order?

Yes of course, go to Send Swatches to select some swatches you’d like to see before ordering.

How do I know if it will look right in my space?

Only you can be the judge of that, but getting a swatch to compare the colour and weight of fabric to other elements in your home is a good place to start. Visit our Virtual Showroom to have a look.

Can I mix & match prints?

Yes! Don’t be afraid to play with your décor. Your home should represent your personality. Many of the fabrics within the collection are designed specifically to coordinate with other prints.

Can I make a special order?

We do accommodate special orders, for example if you see a design you like but would like it in a different colourway, this can be arranged. Or course we need a certain minimum order to make this viable, so get in touch and we can discuss with you. We also can make some specific products with our current fabric range, so again contact us to learn more.

Do you work with interior designers?

We collaborate with a number of designers around the world and are happy to speak with designers about ordering or bespoke designs. Contact us for more information.

Where are your products made?

Our fabrics are sourced and printed by our trusted partners in the UK and Hong Kong. Our products are constructed by our small team in Singapore and Cambridgeshire.

How do I know which type of window covering is best for my windows?

This is for you to decide, but our general rule of thumb is the more pleats the more formal the look – generally best for living rooms, dining rooms and Master suites. Blinds and Inverted pleats can look great in modern spaces. While Tab-top, Tie-top and Rod Pockets are more suited to casual rooms.

Should I use a curtain track or pole?

Again this is up to you. Generally it’s easier to replace curtains on whatever is already in your room, but when doing so don’t forget to tell us how many rings are on you pole or hooks are on your tracks. If you’re planning on installing curtains in a new home or a window that has thus far gone without curtains you’ll need to measure for the pole/track first and we recommend you install it before sending us your measurements for curtains to make sure you order the correct size.

How heavy are the curtains/blinds?

Curtains & blinds vary greatly in weight based on fabric, lining and size. Of course unlined curtains are the lightest with thermal lined curtains the heaviest. If you are concerned about the strength of your pole/track consider replacing them before you hang your new curtains. Roman blinds are often attached to the window frame or wall and are usually less of a worry.

How do I measure for curtains/blinds?

Follow our Measuring Instructions. We recommend using a metal tape measure when measuring and encourage you to install any poles or tracks before taking down your measurements.

What if I sent you incorrect measurements?

Get in touch immediately and we’ll try to halt your order if possible. If your order is already in production a 50% refund will be granted. If your curtains/blinds have arrived and you then realise you’ve given incorrect measurements, get in touch and we’ll try to help you remedy the situation to the best of our ability.

What modes of payment are accepted?

For your security and ease of payment, we process payments via PayPal. You need not have a PayPal account to make payment, it accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover cards.  We do not accept payment via cheque.

Can I cancel my order?

You can cancel an order within 24 hours of placement, after which a 50% refund will be granted if we have started production on your order.

Can I get a refund/make a return?

Cancellation of orders within 24 hours are granted a full refund. For cancellation after 24 hours please get in touch as soon as possible so we can halt production and determine a relevant refund. Fabric-only orders are also granted a full refund within 24 hours, but after the fabric has been cut a S$50/£25 processing fee will be charged. Returns are difficult as all our products are made-to-measure. If you are unhappy with the quality of your product, get in touch and we will address your concerns. We can replace faulty items, we just ask that the items is reurned to us for us to process the return. If your product arrives and you realise the measurements given were incorrect contact us to see if the situation can be remedied.

When will my order arrive?

Fabric-only orders generally arrive in 3-10 working days. Bespoke products take approximately 4-5 weeks for production and delivery, but most orders arrive within 4 weeks depending on your size of order and location.

How will my order arrive?

Your order will arrive via international shipping and delivered to the address you provide upon ordering. Delivery is usually within local business hours. Drop-off often requires a signature, so please arrange accordingly. If no one is available to sign for the delivery, subsequent attempts will be made.

Will the fabrics fade?

All fabrics fade with time. That being said, you can help prevent this by ordering curtains/blinds that are lined or even better lined with blackout. Direct sunlight and over washing are the biggest culprits for fading.

Can I wash my product?

We do not recommend washing curtains, blinds or lampshades. Cushion covers can withstand some washing, but note that all fabrics will begin to fade with repeated washing. To clean any of our products we recommend taking the brush attachment to your vacuum hose and vacuuming the curtains/blinds/lampshade as it hangs – no need to take them down from the window. Washing curtains can ruin their integrity, especially lined curtains.

Can I iron/steam my product?

Creases in curtains/blinds generally work themselves out after hanging for approximately 5-7 days. All our fabric can be ironed, but we recommend you iron on a low setting and iron on the back (non-printed) side. Steaming is also an option, especially for hung curtains, but again keep it at a low setting as over ironing/steaming can make curtains sag.

Can I send my product for dry cleaning?

We recommend trying to clean your products at home with your vacuum, but if they must be sent to the dry cleaners please inform them to process the fabrics with a very gentle treatment. Inform them of any linings or interlinings.
